Hi Jeff! I really like this idea of harmony over balance and how strength training fits into life. Harmony is really what we are after when we seek balance, which is often not as approachable or doable.
So true. It took me many years to seek harmony in my training instead of chasing PR's. At my core, I'm still a meathead, but I've evolved -- now I'm a mindful meathead :)
Thirty years ago, I changed the way I approached training and how I coached my clients. I started looking at it as a physical practice -- big picture and playing the long game. That's when everything changed.
