When Something Fits, You Return To It
Why consistency has more to do with fit than motivation.
When Something Fits, You Return To It
That might be the most important thing I’ve learned after four decades of coaching.
Not the perfect exercise.
Not the perfect program.
Not the perfect amount of motivation.
Fit.
A training approach that works with your real life rather than against it.
Because the goal isn’t to find something you can survive for 30 days.
The goal is to build something you can return to for 30 years.
That’s a physical practice.
Last week, I wrote an article titled “A Physical Practice Requires A Different Language.“
It explains why I use words like awareness, rhythm, capacity, alignment, and the dose—and why those ideas matter so much in the second half of life.
And if you’re trying to build a physical practice that actually fits your life—not just your motivation on a good day—send me a message. I’d love to hear where you are and where you’d like to go.
Here with you for the second half—Jeff

If you’re struggling with the what, how, when-and how it all fits within your life now (not returning to the you of years ago), Jeff can help.
It’s been life changing and life sustaining. You won’t regret asking and inquiring.
